Release Management Roles
The following users typically work with Release Management:
Release Manager
Release Managers are responsible for creating, managing, and executing all aspects of a release, including preplanning, testing, documentation, training, and so on.
Change Manager
Change Managers typically create and then request a release for a change.
Other HEAT User Roles
- Problem Managers, Service Desk Analysts, and Service Desk Managers may view releases.
- Other HEAT user roles, including (but not limited to) Problem Managers, Change Managers, Service Desk Analysts, and Service Desk Managers, can be identified as stakeholders for a specific release.
- Other HEAT user roles, including (but not limited to) Problem Managers, Change Managers, Service Desk Analysts, and Service Desk Managers, can be set up as approvers for a specific release milestone.
