Service Owner Tasks

  • Service owners were previously known as Business Unit Managers.
  • By default, if you log in as the service owner, you are directed to the Self Service module (if you do not belong to other roles).

Service owners create new services and make them available for creating request offerings (or request items that are available in the Service Catalog). After configuring the request offering, service owners define service level packages for these offerings.
