Printing Reports
In general, reports are printed using the print function within your browser.
Follow these steps to print a report:
1. | Select the report that you want, for example from a dashboard, and run it. |
2. | Run the print option from your browser. |
For example, within Firefox or Internet Explorer, type Ctrl + P on your keyboard or click Print.
Ensure that your browser is set to allow pop-ups to appear, or you might not be able to print a report. See How to Enable Pop Ups. |
Reports Date Issues
Sometimes the time in a report will be off by one hour from the time shown in a record. This is a known issue. See Creating Reports and Templates.
Quick actions are used to print individual records. When you run the Quick Action > Print command, a report is run and sent to the printer. Many default reports are included with HEAT. If you have customized your incident object to include other child objects, then you need to customize this report to include additional data.
1. | Within the object record that you want to print, from the Action Menu, choose Print. A list of reports appear, depending on which object you are in. See Default Reports for a list of reports furnished with HEAT. |
2. | Select a report from the list. The report runs. |
Ensure that your browser is set to allow pop-ups to appear, or you might not be able to print a report. See How to Enable Pop Ups. |
3. | From your browser menu, choose Print. |

2. | Under Print, choose Print <business object> (such as incident, change, or knowledge). The Print Report Parameters appear. |
