Service
You can link a record to specific service items from the Service tab.
View Service items
1. | Within the Service Desk Console, open the workspace (change, problem, or release) you want, then open a record. |
2. | Select the Service tab. The list of linked service records appears, if any. |
Add a Service item
1. | Within the Service tab, click Link from the toolbar. A list of all service items appears. |
2. | Navigate to the item you want, then click Select. The service item now appears on the list. |
3. | Click Save from the toolbar. |
Modify a Service item
1. | Within the Service tab, double-click the item you want to edit. The Edit Service window appears. |
2. | Make the changes you want, as described in Creating a Service. |
3. | Click Save. The window closes. |
4. | Click Save from the toolbar. |
Remove a Service item
Removing a Service item from the list does not delete the Service from the database.
1. | Within the Service tab, select the service item you want to remove. |
2. | Click Unlink from the toolbar. The service item is no longer on the list. |
3. | Click Save from the toolbar. |
