Closing an Incident
You can close any incident that you created, regardless of its current status. Typical reasons for closing your own incident include:
- Finding and implementing a solution.
- Determining that the incident does not require further investigation or resolution.
- Determining that the incident is closed after a Service Desk Analyst updates the incident status to resolved.
Close an Incident
Within the incident, click Close Incident.
- The incident status changes to closed.
- The system sends you a survey notification.
