Adding Fields to a Quick Action

You can add fields to a quick actionA user-defined operation that performs one or more actions with a single click of the mouse. when creating a new action. Additional fields give you more control over the results of your quick action.

Sometimes the fields and buttons do not appear on the interface until the object reference is selected. For example, when creating a quick action of insert child object type, you must select the child object reference before the field options appear.

Adding a Field to a Quick Action

1. Within the Quick Actions CenterAllows you to create and edit quick actions associated with the workspace or object context., click ClosedAdd at the end of a field line. A new blank field is inserted below the line you clicked.

2. Enter the field parameters as needed.
3. Repeat to add more fields.
4. Click Save.

Modifying a Field in a Quick Action

1. Within the Quick Actions Center, click in the field to modify.
2. Make your changes.
3. Click Save.
