Adding a Quick Action Button to the Workspace Toolbar

You can add a quick actionA user-defined operation that performs one or more actions with a single click of the mouse. button to the object form toolbar. The default buttons (New, Delete, Refresh and Action Menu) are not quick action buttons and cannot be deleted or selected while in quick action configuration mode (as indicated by the lock button).

Not all roles can perform this procedure.

1. Within the Quick Actions CenterAllows you to create and edit quick actions associated with the workspace or object context., open the quick action to use as a button. The Quick Action Configuration window appears.
2. Click Edit from the Buttons area. The Quick Action Edit window appears.
3. Under the Action settings tab, select Show as Button on toolbar.

4. Click Save from the Buttons area. The quick action is now a button on the toolbar.
5. Drag and drop the button along the toolbar to place it.
6. To remove the quick action button from the toolbar, drag it off the toolbar onto the main part of the page. The button is now gone, but the quick action still resides under the Your Actions tab.
