Post-Implementation Review
After a change request is implemented, the changeA process for assessing and reducing the impact and risks of proposed changes. requires a post-implementation review.
In the post-implementation review, consider the following:
- Did the change have the desired effect and meet the stated objectives?
- Are users and customers satisfied with the results?
- Are there any shortcomings or undesirable side effects?
- Was there a proper allocation of resources to implement the change?
- Was the change implemented on time and within budget?
- Did the backout plan function correctly?
- Was the change request properly categorized? If not, adjust as required.
Each change request can have only one post-implementation review. |
Creating a Post-Implementation Review
The Post Implementation Review tab appears when a change requestA formal request for the implementation of a change. is in implemented status.
1. | Log in to the Service Desk Console as a Change ManagerEnsures that changes are introduced into the organization with minimum disruption to existing services. The Change Manager can initiate a change request, but usually manages the change through its lifecycle. and navigate to the change request. |
2. | Under the Post Implementation Review tab, click New PIR. The New PIR window appears. |
3. | Enter information into the fields. |
